Hot Stone Massage

A hot stone massage is most suitable for men or women who just want to relax. Some like it because it relieves muscle pain and tension. This type of healing massage is comparable to a Swedish massage. However, the difference is that the massage therapist uses heated stones. Sometimes they use their hands; other times they don’t.  

Not only does the hot stone method ease pain and muscle tension, but it improves blood circulation. 

To properly give a hot stone massage, you should heat the healing stones. Then, place them carefully on the affected body parts. Your therapist knows where to put the cold or hot stones, so they give you the most relief. They may also apply some other techniques, such as the Swedish massage. Sometimes cold stones are also used.

If you’re going to get a hot stone massage, you should know that you are not supposed to wear clothes. However, you can keep on your undies. You will have a sheet to cover up with if that makes you more comfortable. This session is about an hour and a half.  

Sports Massage

Sports massage is an awesome alternative if you have a repeated injury to a particular muscle. This injury happens a lot, especially if you are playing sports or participating in events that cause you to be active. The sports massage is also good to have if you want to prevent more injury or are accident-prone. 

It’s also a good idea to use sports massage if you want to enhance flexibility and execution. Additionally, sports massage is a terrific remedy used to relieve muscle tension, pain, and anxiety. 

The massage therapist performs a sports massage as either a full-body massage or focuses on the body that necessitates the most attention. They will use deep pressure with the strokes, depending on what you need. 

Enjoy your sports massage with clothes on or off. If you fancy wearing clothing, it should be loose and thin so the therapist can get to your muscles. Wear something like loose-fitting shorts and a tank top. This massage takes an hour or an hour and a half. 

Deep Tissue Massage

If you want more pressure than a Swedish massage, try the Deep tissue massage. It’s the perfect choice for anyone who has chronic problems or muscle soreness, imbalance, or old, annoying injuries. It can also help with anxiety and tight muscles. Chronic muscle pain doesn’t stand a chance against deep tissue massage. 

The therapist goes beyond the surface and gets down to those layers that are hardest to reach and the connective tissues. Slow strokes are best along with deep pressure using their fingers. Take your clothes off or keep on your underwear for the 60-90 minute session. If done right, you should not be in any pain after a deep tissue massage. 

Swedish Massage

If you have never had a massage before or if you’re under a lot of stress, a Swedish massage may be the one for you. This full-body massage is also good for someone who’s suffering from fibromyalgia or is sensitive to touch.
